I enjoyed it very much. Great location, good instruction, a nice group of people, etc. The instructor asked good questions to get a sense of where each of us were at and what we wanted to work on. Felt inspired! It was also a very relaxing experience.

I did this watercolor painting to gift to my favorite singer (Rachael Price of Lake Street Dive) this past Friday. I try to layer watercolor to get good details and then sometimes go on with white ink for bold/fine details at the end.

It's the abstract shapes, colors, and the bending of light that get my creative juices flowing.. It's fascinating! So this came to mind as an idea for that challenge. It was truly a fun activi

Title or Location: Romeo, RIP
I?m a riding instructor and Romeo was one of our favorite lesson horses. He was a retired ?pony horse? from the race track (possibly Pimlico). An outrider would ride him beside a racehorse to calm them down. He was beautiful, but he was also so gentle, we could put the smallest kids on him to learn horsemanship. We could use him to teach beginner vaulting (like yoga on horses). Sadly he had to be euthanized due to colic, which can cause painful and irreparable intestinal damage in horses.
